# Privacy Policy — Reinstall Work - Source: https://reinstall.work/privacy-policy/ - Effective date: July 28, 2026 This policy describes how Reinstall Work ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website (reinstall.work) and our software and systems services. ## What we collect **When you contact us:** - Name, email address, and company name submitted via email or our scheduling tool - Meeting recordings and notes from discovery calls and client meetings, taken with your prior knowledge and consent using a third-party meeting recording service **When you use our website:** - Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), retained by our hosting provider We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this website. It sets no cookies of its own. **When you are a client:** - Business information, system access credentials, and operational data shared during the engagement. Credentials are stored in an encrypted credential manager, and are returned or rotated and then deleted within 30 days of engagement completion. - Operational data held in the systems we build or administer on your behalf (documents, databases, processes, activity logs) - Phone numbers, where provided by you for transactional SMS sent from systems we build or operate (verification codes, workflow notifications, reminders). These are stored in the relevant system's database and transmitted to a third-party SMS provider for delivery. We do not share phone numbers with any other third parties, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages. ## How we use it - To provide and improve our services - To communicate with you about your engagement - To send invoices and process payments through a third-party payment processor - To comply with legal obligations We do **not**: - Sell your personal information to third parties - Use your data for advertising - Train AI models on your content - Share data between clients ## Data storage and security Systems we build for you generally run on infrastructure and accounts that you own. Where we host or administer systems on your behalf, they run on established cloud infrastructure providers, with data encrypted in transit and at rest. Client engagement records (proposals, agreements, meeting notes) are stored in our internal software systems and in the third-party tools used during the engagement for payments, electronic signatures, and meeting recording. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected parties within 72 hours of discovery. ## Cookies This website does not set cookies. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. ## Third-party services We use a small number of third-party services to operate our business, including providers for cloud hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, scheduling, meeting recording, electronic signatures, and AI model access. Each operates under its own privacy policy. A current list of the providers that may process client data is available on request at tyler@reinstall.work. ## SMS and phone data Clients add recipient phone numbers to the systems we build or operate for them. These are contacts with whom the client's business has an existing relationship — customers, employees, vendors, or other parties who provided their phone number in the normal course of business (service calls, intake forms, CRM records, verbal consent). We use phone numbers solely to deliver transactional SMS messages (verification codes, workflow notifications, and scheduled reminders). Phone numbers are stored in the relevant system's database and transmitted to a third-party SMS provider for delivery. We do not share phone numbers with any other third parties, and we do not send marketing or promotional messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. See our [Terms of Service](https://reinstall.work/terms/) for full SMS terms. ## Data retention - **Website logs:** 90 days - **Data in systems we administer on your behalf:** returned or deleted at handover at the end of an engagement, per your Service Agreement - **Client engagement records:** retained for 7 years for tax and legal compliance - **Meeting recordings:** retained for the duration of the engagement plus 90 days ## Your rights You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing tyler@reinstall.work. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days. ## International data processing Our services use cloud infrastructure that may process data in multiple jurisdictions. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest regardless of processing location. ## Children's privacy Our services are designed for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. ## Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active clients.
